Getting to Know Bill Brodell, Golf Pro
Bill Brodell has played an instrumental role in the Club's success as head golf pro here at Butte des Morts. His experience both on and off the course has proven to be invaluable in coaching Members and helping them refine their games.
Perhaps best known for his incredible hole-in-one at the 1982 U.S. Open in Pebble Beach, Bill is also a 2002 inductee of the Wisconsin State Golf Association's Hall of Fame. Some of his other most notable accomplishments include:
PGA Championship player at Oak Tree in Edmond, OK - 1988
Wisconsin State Open Champion - 1986
WPGA Player of the Year - 1985 - 1988
WPGA Match Play Champion in 1982 and 1985
WPGA Stroke Play Champion in 1986 and 1989
WSGA State Amateur 2nd Place - 1971
Qualifier PGA National Club Pro Championship - 12 times
Northeastern Wisconsin Open (NEWGA) Champion - 6 times

Getting to Know Steve Francour, Tennis Pro
A tennis enthusiast since he was a kid, Steve Francour first hit the court when he was 10 and has been serving aces ever since. Steve joined BDM as the head tennis pro in 2008 and enjoys teaching players of all skill levels, offering private and group lessons for juniors to adults.
Steve's playing philosophy is that tennis is a game for all ages and one that is meant to be fun. He roots for Rafael Nadal in big matches and some of his own accomplishments include:
USPTA Certified Professional
21 seasons of coaching the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh men's and women's tennis teams
Head Pro and Director of the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center for 17 years
Nearly 15 years of country club experience
Undergraduate degree from UW-Oshkosh; Master's degree from Baylor University
