From Farmland to Private Country Club
Once farm acreage owned by the late Frank Hammes and Peter Fleming, Butte des Morts Country Club opened in 1924.

It has since grown to become one of the finest private country clubs in Wisconsin and has withstood the elements, multiple generations and historical events including World War II and the Great Depression.

Keeping the Tradition Going
With such a rich history, BDM's leadership continues to maintain the Club's tradition of excellence for current Members and those to come. The Club has a 15-member Board of Directors, with Dave Bushelle, business analyst at Kimberly-Clark currently serving as President.
